The maintenance control department’s function is to plan and execute all aspects of maintenance for the managed fleet. The department coordinates and moderates the performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company-owned and managed aircraft. Maintenance Controllers (MC) may be delegated the authority to carry out any or all of the following tasks: Projects scheduled maintenance needs for the coming 6-12 months. Maintains mission readiness as the primary point of contact for unscheduled maintenance events When unscheduled occurrences happen, the MC will work with the flight crew to troubleshoot the issue.
