ACI Jet began its journey in 1998 as an air charter company with a single twin-engine Piper Seneca III. By 2002, they expanded their fleet with a Cessna Citation CJ2, and by 2020, they operated 11 private jets.
In August 2014, French investor Olivier Leclercq made a significant investment in ACI Jet, enabling staff and operations expansion. His funds also supported the Employee Flight Department, allowing employees to use the fleet's light aircraft.
In September 2017, ACI Jet acquired a facility at John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, through an RFQ award. They also expanded their headquarters at San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport, with completion expected in early 2019.
In February 2018, Leclercq added three new aircraft to the fleet: two Bombardier Globals and an Embraer Phenom 300, enhancing their international travel capabilities.
By March 2020, ACI Jet planned to open a new facility, adding 30,000 sq. ft. of MRO hangar space and 36,000 sq. ft. of office space to support their growing flight-operations services.
In October 2022, ACI Jet completed the acquisition of an aircraft maintenance operation based at Van Nuys Airport.
